Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharma leader, seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison for the Florida/Georgia Territory. This field-based role requires building relationships with neurology and epilepsy experts, delivering scientific exchange, and supporting Medical Affairs and Greenwich Biosciences.

You will travel 60-80% and interact with academic centers, payers, and healthcare organizations, providing clinical information and collaborating on IITs and trials.

Qualifications

• MS degree in scientific/medical discipline; MD/PhD/PharmD strongly preferred.
• MSL experience in epilepsy, spasticity and/or cannabinoid science preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Science Liaison.
• Demonstrated ability to partner and maintain relationships within the medical community.
• Excellent presentation and teaching skills with strong scientific/pharmaceutical knowledge.
• Clinical or research experience in epilepsy, neurology or cannabinoid science preferred.
• Knowledge of US regulatory/compliance guidelines relevant to industry interactions with HCPs preferred.
• Strong capabilities with digital platforms and tools.
• Field position; travel 60-80% time required.
• Valid driver's license; live within 30 miles of a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare providers in neurology & epilepsy.
• Develop and execute territory plans in line with Medical Affairs strategies.
• Collaborate across functions to maximize territory opportunities.
• Communicate key clinical insights and data gaps from KOLs to relevant departments.
• Lead medical education for healthcare professionals via on-site presentations, investigator meetings, and conferences.
• Provide scientific support to formulary committees and payers with market access input.
• Lead activities like medical congress staffing, advisory boards, and trainings.
