Job summary

Ethereum Technologies is seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator with 6-8 years of hands-on experience. You will manage SQL Server environments across versions, implement high availability, perform upgrades, and ensure robust backups and disaster recovery.

Strong scripting and automation skills are required. The role focuses on installation, configuration, troubleshooting, security hardening, and proactive performance tuning to support critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage Microsoft SQL Server instances including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Perform backups, restores, integrity checks, and disaster recovery planning (Always On, log shipping, mirroring, clustering).
• Tune performance, optimize queries, and monitor using SQL Server tools (Profiler, DMVs, Query Store).
• Automate tasks with PowerShell and SQL scripting; implement maintenance plans and security controls.
