Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks an experienced MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging in a busy hospital setting, focusing on MRI. You will prepare patients and equipment, independently conduct studies, and manage shift operations to ensure efficient workflow.

You will serve as a clinical resource, troubleshoot complex exams, mentor staff, and liaise with supervisors. Supervisory duties may arise in absence of leadership, with training of new staff and students included.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in radiology or related field.
• R.T.(R) certification in Radiography or equivalent.
• 2-5 years radiology experience; 5-10 years preferred.
• Licenses/certifications such as IEMA, RTR, CT, MR as applicable.
• Strong MRI knowledge and Siemens MRI equipment.
• Leadership, problem solving and mentoring abilities required.
• Full-time with benefits; no on-call responsibilities.
• Day shift: three 12-hour shifts weekly; training on days for ~3 months.
• Work with cutting-edge technology in a top-ranked hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI, with focus on quality.
• Manage daily workflow, prioritize tasks, and oversee shift operations.
• Troubleshoot issues, assist with difficult exams, and mentor staff.
• Ensure proper patient prep, safety and equipment readiness.
• Delegate tasks and act as a clinical resource for staff technologists.
• Maintain supplies and communicate with team and supervisors.
