Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston is seeking an experienced MRI technologist to perform MRI procedures and contribute to patient care. The senior technologist will prepare patients, explain procedures, administer contrast when necessary, and ensure high-quality imaging.

This role also serves as a preceptor and mentor to staff, assisting management with supervision and promoting safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Certification in Basic or Advanced Life Support is required.
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT MR registration is required.
• Ability to lift and move patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures, prepares patients, explains the exam and administers contrast when needed.
• Positions patients and ensures technical quality of the scan.
• Enters and monitors patient data and ensures safety and compliance with policies.
• Acts as a preceptor and mentor to staff and supports management with supervision.
