Job summary

UCSF Health, AG is seeking an MR Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality MRI imaging, manage patient flow, and support MRI safety across UCSF locations. You will train staff on new MRI technologies and collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to ensure optimal imaging results.

The candidate must maintain competency in multiple MRI exams, adapt to varying schedules including weekends and holidays, and adhere to department policies while delivering compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal radiology technology training program.
• ARRT MRI Certification, BLS CPR and Phlebotomy/Venipuncture certifications are required/licensed.
• Flexibility to rotate shifts and weekends/holidays is required.
• Ability to perform 3 of 6 specialty MRI scans (Cardiac, Fetal, Pediatric, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality MRI exams with proper technique and patient positioning.
• Coordinate patient flow and scheduling for MRI exams.
• Maintain MRI safety and infection control standards.
• Provide training to staff on new MRI technologies.
• Assist Radiologist and clinicians as needed.
• Oversee routine QA and equipment troubleshooting.
