Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking an MRB / Liaison Engineer to join the Engineering department in Kinston, NC (or Wichita, KS). The role centers on advanced stress analysis and serving as a technical authority for structural conformance and manufacturing realities.

You will work across Design, Manufacturing and Quality to develop and document solutions for concessions and modifications, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while supporting aircraft programs such as the A350 family.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering with emphasis on structural design and analysis.
• 13+ years total experience in stress analysis with airframe structures.
• Experience in airframe design (metallic & composites), FDT, SRM, MRB, FAR/JAR/CS/Part 25, Certification, CATIA, NASTRAN, and PATRAN.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously perform complex stress calculations for metallic, composite, and hybrid structures.
• Ensure Airbus methods, processes and procedures are followed.
• Liaise with Design, Manufacturing, Quality and other departments to implement optimum solutions.
