Job summary

Expleo Group USA is seeking experienced MRB Design Engineers (Levels IV-VI) to provide advanced engineering leadership and MRB disposition support across aerospace programs. This on-site, Wichita-based role focuses on complex evaluations, innovative repair development, and technical authority in MRB decisions.

Candidates may be considered for Level IV, V, or VI based on experience, leadership, and technical qualifications, with a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Structural Engineering or related field.
• Degree must be from an ABET-accredited institution or equivalent recognized under the Washington Accord.
• Extensive aerospace MRB experience on commercial or military programs.
• Strong expertise in metallic and composite aircraft structures.
• Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing requirements.
• Knowledge of airworthiness, regulatory compliance, and best practices.
• Experience with SAP NCMS or similar nonconformance systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, analysis, and disposition of complex aerospace nonconformances.
• Develop repair and rework solutions considering fit, form, function, airworthiness, cost, schedule.
• Assess structural impacts and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Serve as a technical authority in cross-functional and customer engagements.
• Collaborate with Design, Stress, Quality, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to resolve issues.
• Provide technical justification and documentation for MRB decisions.
• Define and standardize MRB processes and engineering methods.
• Drive engineering excellence across programs.
• Support audits, program reviews, and regulatory initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and build technical capability.
