Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Aeronautical Engineer Sr - E3 to lead material review activities on the F-35 production line, ensuring component functional compliance and disposition of nonconformances. You will collaborate across Stress/Service Life, QA, Planning, Structures, Systems Design, Safety, and Materials and Processes to drive continuous improvement while maintaining physical agility to access defects on aircraft.

This role requires a B.S.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering.
• Experience with 3-D CAD tools like CATIA, Solidworks, Pro Engineer, Unigraphics (or equivalent).
• Experience providing engineering support for aircraft production, modification, or sustainment.

Aufgaben

• Investigate anomalies, develop technical solutions, and release dispositions for high-performance aeronautical parts and assemblies.
• Coordinate with Stress/Service Life, Quality Assurance, Planning, Functional Test, Structures, Systems Design, Safety, Materials and Processes.
• Partner with the production floor and customer engineering staff to drive workflow improvements, embed best practices, and manage lessons learned.
• Provide MRB team coverage periodically for weekend and off-shift support; travel to remote sites as needed.
• Maintain physical agility to access defects on F-35 aircraft and ensure compliance throughout the production line.
