The role requires a PhD in a related field, strong MR physics knowledge, C++/C and MATLAB skills, and the ability to work across teams while traveling up to 20% of the time.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biomedical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Biomedical Physics / Imaging Physics, or equivalent.
• Exceptional communication skills in writing, presentation and verbal formats.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
• Strong background in MR physics and pulse sequence design.
• Experience with MR imaging techniques and clinical applications.
• Experience working with internal and external partners.
• Proficiency in C++/C software design, implementation and coding.
• Experience using MATLAB for signal and image processing.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration Management: be the key on-site contact for Siemens and customer; coordinate with leadership, applications, sales and service.
• Research and Development: drive MR research, develop clinically relevant techniques, and publish results.
• Product Development: integrate new techniques into medical device quality standards and improve existing features.
• Sales and Marketing Support: provide content for articles and marketing materials; support meetings and site visits.
• Education and governance: adhere to collaboration policies and manage grants with academic partners.
