Fitch Ratings in New York seeks a Senior Market Research Associate to join the BRM team, with a primary focus on investor outreach to CLO managers and high yield bond investors.

You will collaborate with senior colleagues to build relationships across strategic accounts, develop pitch books and marketing materials, and coordinate outreach plans across departments. This role offers exposure to global markets, opportunities to influence ratings mandates, and a clear path for professional growth.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred in business, finance, or economics.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in leveraged finance, CLOs, high yield syndicate, loan sales, capital markets, or a rating agency.
• Strong client-facing experience and the ability to build external relationships.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work independently and with teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Support investor coverage for BRM Corporates and CLO managers and high-yield investors.
• Develop pitch books, marketing materials, and case studies for specific firms or opportunities.
• Coordinate outreach plans and arrange senior-level relationship meetings across regions.
