Job summary

Fitch Ratings, based in New York, seeks an Associate Director to join the BRM team focusing on investor outreach to CLO managers and high yield bond investors. Qualifications

• College degree in business, finance, or economics.
• 3–5 years of experience in leveraged finance, CLOs, or capital markets.
• Understanding of CLOs.
• Client-facing experience and ability to build external relationships.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior team in developing and maintaining relationships across strategic investor accounts to generate new ratings mandates and revenue opportunities.
• Maintain dialogue with CLO managers and key investor contacts to expand relationships.
• Help expand outreach into broader loan and high yield investor accounts over time.
• Coordinate with BRM colleagues to align outreach lists and firm messaging and arrange senior-level meetings.
• Develop institutional knowledge of target accounts and maintain touchpoint records.
• Prepare pitch books, marketing materials, and case studies tailored to firms or sectors.
• Run pipeline and market share reports to drive strategic insights and activity.
• Stay informed on market trends and client activity.
• Review CLO indentures to identify ratings-related considerations and opportunities.
• Attend client meetings and pitches with senior team members.
• Support senior bankers in developing relationships with associate/VP professionals and producing outreach content.
