Job summary

Enterprise Management Solutions LLC is seeking a dependable Moving Team Lead to supervise movers and moving crews, safely operate moving trucks, and coordinate daily activities for Zebulon Perry Expediters in Baltimore City and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will lead residential and commercial moves, maintain vehicles, ensure excellent customer service, and drive profitability while adapting to a flexible, part-time schedule based on client demand.

Qualifications

• Previous moving, logistics, warehouse, transportation, or delivery experience preferred.
• Prior team leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate box trucks and moving vehicles.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items regularly (50-100+ lbs with assistance).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
• Ability to pass background screening and motor vehicle check.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise movers and crew during residential, commercial, and specialty moves.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor crew performance.
• Ensure professionalism, safety, and productivity on site.
• Conduct pre-job briefings and set clear expectations.
• Report issues to the Operations Manager.
• Ensure crew arrives on time and prepared.
• Maintain discipline and accountability among crews.
• Train crew on procedures, safety, and customer service.
• Safely operate moving trucks per Maryland laws.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance with approved mechanics.
• Protect customer belongings and equipment during moves.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness.
• Manage job profitability and labor efficiency.
• Upsell services when appropriate and document changes.
