LaRiviere, Inc. is seeking a skilled Motor Grader Operator/Superintendent for our North Idaho team.

The role involves operating the motor grader, overseeing equipment, and ensuring safe, high-quality construction across projects in Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington. The candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in highway, roads, and residential development projects, and be proficient in grading techniques, automatic grade control, and reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years as a motor grader operator on highway, road, and residential projects.
• Skilled in operating and maintaining motor grader equipment.
• Able to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
• Experience with automatic grade control systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate motor grader to grade and shape surfaces to precise specs.
• Perform pre-start checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Shape subgrades, shoulders, and base courses as directed.
• Use automatic grade control and manual methods to meet grade specs and quality standards.
• Maintain production schedules and ensure timely task completion.
• Enforce safety procedures and address on-site issues promptly.
