Responsibilities

Design and develop X/Y/Z linear axes and Theta rotational axes.
Design precision positioning systems, stages, gantries, and automated equipment.
Design and select servo motors, direct drives, magnetic drives, linear motors, actuators, and encoders.
Develop mechanical and/or electrical designs from concept through prototype and production.
Create and modify 3D CAD models, assemblies, engineering drawings, and schematics.
Perform design calculations, component selection, tolerance analysis, and system-level engineering.
Integrate motion systems with PLCs, motion controllers, robotics, and automation systems.
Troubleshoot and optimize mechanical, electrical, and motion-control systems.
Support prototype development, testing, commissioning, and production integration.
Develop advanced motion solutions for laser processing and automation equipment.
