Job summary

TCWGlobal in Carlsbad, CA is seeking an experienced Motion Sensing Hardware Engineer with deep 60 GHz mmWave radar expertise to help build the next generation of intelligent motion sensing for security products.

You will own radar development from tests to validation, collaborate with hardware, firmware, ODM partners, and vendors, and contribute to sensing-system metrics, data analysis in Python, and rigorous performance validation on a demanding schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or MSEE).
• Around 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Hands-on 60 GHz mmWave radar experience.
• Ability to work onsite in Carlsbad ~4 days per week.
• Strong debugging, testing, and data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Characterize and optimize 60 GHz mmWave radar performance across products and environments.
• Tune detection and tracking parameters using real-world test data.
• Help build radar testing infrastructure, tools, and methodologies from the ground up.
• Collaborate with Firmware, ODM partners, and technology vendors to improve performance.
• Analyze and visualize test data using Python and prepare technical reports.
