Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Motion Graphic Designer to enhance and develop the Toptal brand. As part of the Video and Photography team within Marketing, you will collaborate with creative professionals to produce animated motion assets for various communications. This role requires a blend of creativity, teamwork, and leadership in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Create motion-based content for digital marketing, social media, and internal communications that aligns with Toptal’s brand.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative concepts and execute animations.
• Produce storyboards, comps, and final assets efficiently.
• Utilize storytelling skills to craft inspiring visual narratives.
• Enhance footage with techniques like rotoscoping and masking.
• Coordinate with external vendors for outsourced projects.
• Develop and update motion templates as needed.
• Present ideas and revisions to stakeholders effectively.

Onboarding and Growth Milestones:

First week:

• Complete onboarding and learn brand guidelines.
• Meet team members across departments.

First month:

• Familiarize with processes and tools.
• Start creating social media content and templates.

First three months:

• Deliver animated campaigns and brainstorm new ideas.
• Collaborate on motion toolkits for campaigns.

Six months:

• Lead motion design for major initiatives.
• Establish yourself as a key creative partner.

One year:

• Build reputation as a creative motion design expert.
• Inspire and elevate team standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in motion design or related fields.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating brand-oriented motion work.
• Expertise in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop; experience with Premiere Pro, Figma, Frame.io.
• Proficiency in both 2D and 3D animation software.
• Experience in branding and campaign development.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
