Job summary

Amazon’s Device Brand Studio seeks a Motion Designer to own motion and film craft for products and campaigns. Lead from concept to final delivery, translating brand stories into 15-second cuts, keynote content, and social loops, while collaborating with directors, editors, and production.

Qualifications

8+ years of design experience.
Have an available online portfolio.
Experience art directing motion designers, illustrators, writers and content creators.
Experience partnering with technical partners for design implementation.

Responsibilities

Own motion design and animation execution for campaigns from concept through final delivery.
Develop styleframes, storyboards, and animation concepts that translate brand strategy into motion.
Edit and finish film and motion content for keynote, campaign, and social deliverables.
Partner with creative directors and art directors to develop and pitch motion concepts and territories.
Collaborate with editors, sound designers, and production to keep motion work on schedule and technically sound.
Give feedback and technical guidance to junior motion designers on the team.
Maintain technical and craft standards across motion deliverables as formats and platforms evolve.
