Job summary

Sköna is seeking a Motion Designer to be the first in-house motion hire, shaping how motion appears across client work, pitches, and internal storytelling. You will own projects end-to-end, from concept to polished execution, and help define scalable workflows and best practices.

You will collaborate with designers, writers, and clients across brand identities, campaigns, and product videos. This role demands a strong eye for craft, pacing, and detail, with autonomy to influence motion at every

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional motion design experience
• Strong portfolio with concept thinking and high-quality execution
• Advanced proficiency in After Effects and animation fundamentals
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience creating motion for branding, campaigns, and digital/social platforms
• Experience leveraging AI in workflow
• Bachelor’s degree in design, animation, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and animate motion graphics across brand systems, campaigns, social and digital assets
• Lead motion projects from concept to final delivery with storyboard and production-ready exports
• Identify opportunities where motion strengthens storytelling and user experiences
• Shape Sköna’s motion offering by establishing best practices and workflows
• Collaborate with creative directors, designers, copywriters, and producers to ensure strong motion concepts
• Maintain brand and campaign consistency while ensuring visual quality
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines delivering production-ready work
• Support internal marketing with motion graphics for social and case studies
• Identify opportunities for motion within existing brands and campaigns
• Collaborate with freelance motion designers when appropriate
