Job summary

Snap Inc. in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Senior Motion Graphics Designer to craft visually stunning motion work across Snapchat, social, web and video.

You will partner with the creative team to define motion systems, lead high‑priority projects from concept to delivery, and elevate the craft across our brands. The role requires 8+ years in motion design, a Bachelor’s in a related field, expert use of After Effects, Cinema 4D and Blender, and a collaborative, fast‑paced mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in motion design or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in motion design with a record of work that is critically acclaimed and commercially successful.
• Hands-on experience as a motion designer (in-house, freelance or agency).
• Up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in motion design.
• Proficient in After Effects, Cinema 4D and Blender.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the creative team to create visually stunning and engaging motion graphics for various digital platforms.
• Develop, define and implement cohesive motion design systems across our portfolio of brands.
• Ideate and execute new ways to communicate products, features and company developments through motion design.
• Lead the development and execution of high priority motion design projects from start to finish.
• Elevate and raise the quality of motion design craft across all brand touchpoints.
• Grow and define the team's creative culture.
