Job summary

Pressrun in New York seeks a senior motion designer to bring ideas to life through movement. You’ll design and produce motion graphics for editorial launches, social campaigns, and web experiences across 2D, 3D, and generative workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional motion design experience
• Expert-level After Effects; strong Cinema 4D, Blender, or equivalent 3D skills
• A reel that shows range — editorial, kinetic typography, data visualization, character animation
• Understanding of social-first content formats and platform-specific requirements
• Ability to move fast without sacrificing craft
• Experience working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary creative team

Responsibilities

• Design and produce motion graphics for editorial launches, social campaigns, and web experiences
• Create animated content packages for book launches and thought leadership programs
• Develop motion templates and systems that scale across clients and formats
• Collaborate with creative directors and content strategists on campaign concepts
• Explore and integrate AI-powered motion tools into production workflows
• Deliver assets optimized for social platforms, web, and paid media channels
