Job summary

Precis is seeking a motion designer in Austin to craft engaging motion concepts across digital channels. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to translate brand guidelines into compelling motion assets and elevate creative concepts through motion.

Applicants should demonstrate strong motion design skills, proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma, and leverage performance data to drive creative decisions.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop motion concepts for a variety of clients across various digital channels and formats: paid social, display, programmatic, video, etc.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create solutions for our clients that solve design challenges and improve advertising performance.
• Translate brand guidelines into compelling motion assets.
• Advocate for motion design and ensure creative concepts and executions are elevated through the use of motion.
• Produce work that maintains consistency and high graphic standards.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven design and storytelling skills with experience creating for digital platforms and campaigns.
• Excellent motion design skills and confidence in working with creative tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Adobe Suite & Figma (skillset within 3D design and motion graphics is a plus).
• Understanding of how to use performance data to drive creative execution.
• Skills to translate rough concept and ideas into tangible motion masterpieces.
• Pulse on current digital marketing landscape, platforms, and evolving formats.
• Willingness to push out-of-the-box thinking on all work, no matter the creative format or project.
• Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
