Expedia Group is seeking a Director/Principal Motion Designer to define motion language and elevate product and brand motion across Expedia Design. You will refine micro-interactions, direct sizzle reels, and partner with product, brand, and engineering to ensure ships align with intent.

You will mentor designers, raise the craft bar, and influence stakeholders on motion strategy, storytelling, and implementation across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Motion, HCI, UX or related field.
• 5–10+ years of experience in product design or related disciplines, including leadership of large-scale teams.
• Proven ability to define and drive organization-level customer experience strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to operate as a player-coach, balancing leadership with direct engagement in design work.
• Strong communication across design, research, and content strategy practices.

Responsabilités

• Define and evolve Expedia Design's motion language for product and brand.
• Design UI motion for transitions, micro-interactions, loading and moments of delight.
• Bridge design and engineering with clear motion specs for iOS, Android, and web.
• Create editorial and promotional motion including brand films and sizzle videos.
• Lead and mentor designers; elevate motion craft and capabilities across the organization.
