Job summary

Monks is seeking a Senior Motion Artist / Editor to join our remote, shift-based production team. You will transform existing footage and assets into polished video content, while applying brand guidelines and motion systems across projects for clients worldwide.

You will collaborate with designers and producers, manage tight turnarounds, and help shape efficient workflows. Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro and Figma is required, with a forward-looking interest in AI-enabled production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in motion design, video editing, or post-production.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Working proficiency in Figma, including components export.
• Strong motion-graphics, animation, and editorial storytelling skills.
• Experience editing existing footage and integrating design assets.
• Ability to work autonomously with rapid turnarounds.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Edit existing footage into clear, engaging video deliverables.
• Create motion graphics, animated typography, transitions, and visuals.
• Apply brand guidelines and design systems across work.
• Time edits to voiceover, music, and audio.
• Collaborate with designers to adapt assets for motion.
• Maintain narrative clarity with writers and producers.
• Create reusable motion components for rapid-turn production.
• Prepare organized project files for distributed teams.
• Conduct self-QA for quality, timing, audio, and brand alignment.
• Incorporate feedback quickly while preserving craft.
