Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking an experienced Product Engineer to support MOSFET-oriented power devices across development and production phases. You will collaborate with design, test, manufacturing and quality teams to ensure product performance, cost and schedule goals.

Responsibilities include MOSFET validation, wafer-level testing, FET characterization, test documentation and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 3+ years of MOSFET product engineering experience.
• Experience with MOSFET testing and validation.
• Hands-on lab tools experience: parameter analyzer, curve tracer.
• Familiar with schematics, BOMs and PCB layout tools (Allegro/Altium/OrCAD).
• Experience with discrete devices testing and packaging.
• Experience with engineering databases, automation and JMP.
• Proficient in scripting (Python/Perl/shell) for data logging.
• Knowledge of semiconductor device physics.
• Development NP I (NPI) product engineering experience is a plus.
• Understanding of wafer-level processing, assembly and test methods.
• Strong time management and teamwork abilities.
• Proactive, self-motivated with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support MOSFET silicon validation with test content and automation.
• Wafer-level test support for MOSFETs in SPS products.
• Perform FET characterization at package level.
• Document test procedures, reports and guidelines.
• Monitor results and write engineering reports.
• Drive COGS improvements and process optimization.
• Manage PCRB changes and product qualifications.
• Disposition of abnormal or low-yield lots.
• Interface with operations, QA, reliability, factory and OSAT.
• Analyze performance, failure modes and RMAs/FA.
• Lead NPI for power device products from tape-out to production release.
