Elliman Capital, the mortgage lending arm of Douglas Elliman, is seeking a Senior Mortgage Underwriter in its Miami office. This hands-on role covers the full product spectrum—conventional, FHA, VA, jumbo, and Non-QM—and requires sound, well-documented decisions without second eyes on every file.

The right candidate excels at complex income analysis, including self-employed scenarios, and collaborates closely with processors, closing staff, and loan officers to ensure timely closings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on mortgage underwriting experience.
• Experience across conventional, FHA, VA, jumbo, and Non-QM loans.
• Strong command of self-employed and complex income analysis.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, jumbo, and Non-QM loans within guidelines.
• Analyze income for salaried, commissioned, and self-employed borrowers.
• Evaluate credit, assets, reserves, liabilities, and identify risk with documentation.
