Qualifications

• 5+ years of underwriting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze loan files to ensure compliance with investor guidelines.
• Evaluate credit packages and collateral for residential mortgages.
• Verify calculations for accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of secondary market guidelines and private mortgage insurance.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with laws and policies.
• Assist in developing underwriting standards.
• Support loan processors with interpretations on files.
• Respond to post-closing reviews and QC audits.
• Multi-task in high-volume environment, including weekends.
