USA Loans - NMLS ID: 299131 seeks a highly experienced mortgage professional to become a key leader, partnering with ownership to set strategy and scale growth. This role goes beyond typical operations and requires solving complex loan scenarios and guiding underwriting.

You will support loan officers and managers, coach originators, and help optimize workflows across multiple teams while staying current on FHA/VA/USDA, Conventional, Non-QM, and other lending programs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of mortgage industry experience.
• Experience with FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional, Jumbo and Non-QM products.
• Ability to structure difficult loan scenarios.
• Leadership experience managing mortgage teams.
• Strong understanding of income calculation, self-employed borrowers, investment properties, DSCR, and credit analysis.
• NMLS license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an internal loan structuring expert for complex mortgage files.
• Review difficult scenarios and recommend solutions prior to underwriting.
• Support loan officers, processors, and managers with guideline interpretation.
• Assist in resolving loan conditions and underwriting challenges.
• Provide training and coaching to loan originators and team leaders.
• Develop and improve operational workflows.
• Help manage lending operations across multiple teams.
• Serve as an escalation point for difficult borrower and loan situations.
• Work closely with ownership to improve efficiency and production.
• Maintain knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional, Non-QM, Hard Money, and Commercial lending programs.
