Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent advanced training in a financial institution or loan setting.
• Must register and maintain a status in good standing under the SAFE Act requirements.

Responsibilities

• Interview loan applicants and explain loan options and requirements.
• Conduct loan closings and ensure all documents are signed properly.
• Disburse funds for construction and home improvement loans.
• Manage and supervise individual loan portfolios.
• Maintain asset quality of lending portfolios.
• Assist other loan officers with underwriting questions.
• Identify and maintain business relationships with realtors and attorneys.
• Cross-sell bank products professionally.
• Complete required training for the job function.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
