Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead analysis for medium to complex mortgage lifecycle projects, from discovery through delivery. You will partner with Product, Engineering and QA to support front-end and back-end systems, APIs, and legacy platforms.

You will craft clear requirements, model data flows, and mentor other BAs, while driving Agile delivery and ensuring timely, high-quality results across the client experience initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field is required.
• Minimum six years' experience in mortgage lending or consumer lending tech.
• Experience leading agile teams, backlog planning, epics and user stories.
• Analytical skills with ability to model and streamline complex processes.
• Ability to write SQL queries and effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and requirements elicitation through interviews/workshops.
• Develop clear, testable requirements including APIs, data flows and interfaces.
• Decompose complex requirements into features and user stories.
• Create current/future state process and data-flow diagrams.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning and design discussions.
• Mentor other Business Analysts and improve BA standards.
