Job summary

GRVTY seeks an experienced Database Engineer to design, implement, and maintain MongoDB databases powering enterprise security automation. You will optimize data storage, support data flows, and drive improvements across the system life cycle.

The role requires 10 years as a DBE, a technical degree, and TS/SCI clearance. You will lead high-availability architectures, disaster recovery, and detailed documentation while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

10 years of experience as a DBE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required. 5 years may substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, and maintain MongoDB databases for security automation initiatives.
Support data storage, retrieval, data flow, and analysis activities.
Analyze system improvements and optimization efforts.
Design database structures that fit the system architecture and cloud methodologies.
Configure replication, sharding, high-availability, backups, and disaster recovery.
Lead development of database structures, parser software, and loading software.
Monitor health, performance metrics, and security compliance.
Create comprehensive database documentation including schemas and indexing strategies.
