Job summary

GRVTY is seeking experienced Data Engineers to automate security evaluation workflows and to build a scalable data platform. You will design and maintain databases, develop Python-based REST endpoints, and lead the creation of data models across MariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.

Expertise in Django/Flask, microservices, and API tooling is required, with a TS/SCI clearance preferred. The role focuses on automation, continuous monitoring, and data gathering across project lifecycles, enabling

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a DBE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• 5 years of DBE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis.
• Develop or maintain database structure to fit into the overall architecture of the system.
• Create new workflows to take over existing processes as needed as well as provide break/fix requests or updates.
• Lead development of database structures, database parser software, and database loading software.
• Support the development and test of various Python based ReST end points, microservices, and data model management capabilities utilizing Django and Flask frameworks to interact with data models such as MariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL and send data upon request, in JSON format, to UI front ends.
• Database experience using MongoDB, Including: Deployment and management of database itself, Debugging of optimization issues, Scaling.
