Job summary

Elanco, a global leader in animal health, seeks a Senior Analyst in Molecular Pharmacology at its Indianapolis headquarters. You will integrate molecular biology with tissue culture to create and maintain cell lines and perform cell-based assays that support discovery programs.

The role requires hands-on lab experience, data analysis skills, and ELN documentation. Collaboration across discovery teams is essential to drive milestones in our research pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with hands-on laboratory experience in molecular biology/cell biology.
• Hands-on proficiency in routine molecular biology techniques (PCR/qPCR, DNA/RNA extraction, plasmid prep).
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and multi-well plate cellular assays.
• Proficiency with data analysis software (GraphPad Prism, Excel) and ELN documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support molecular biology and cell line engineering activities.
• Establish, expand, validate, and bank mammalian cell lines; optimize culture conditions.
• Execute cell-based pharmacology assays in 96- and 384-well formats to measure activity.
• Process and summarize assay data using standard software; verify data quality.
• Document protocols, designs, passages, and assays in the ELN.
