Job summary

Infiltrator Water Technologies (IWT) in Winchester, KY is seeking a skilled mold maintenance technician to support our in-house tool repair shop. The ideal candidate will hold a Journeyman tool and die certification or proven experience repairing injection molds and stamping dies.

You will perform mold disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, preventive maintenance, and hot runner work, with safety and quality standards in mind. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Journeyman tool and die certification or proven experience repairing injection molds and stamping dies.
• Familiarity with construction tolerances, dimensions, torque values, and surface hardness.
• Experience using measurement devices to 0.001 inch.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble molds; surface clean, polish, and clean water channels.
• Perform mold preventive maintenance and repairs to meet production standards.
• Work with hot runner systems, including wiring and temperature control basics.
• Document mold problems and interface with technicians, supervisors, and engineers.
• Occasional overtime/weekend work; operate overhead crane and rigging systems.
