Job summary

Chicago Mold Engineering seeks skilled CNC mold makers in Illinois to build, repair and troubleshoot plastic injection molds. You will set up and operate general shop machinery, including ProtoTRAK controls, surface grinders, and lathes, with CAD knowledge essential for design changes and repairs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to set up and operate general shop machinery (Prototraks, surface grinders, lathes, etc.)
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in assembly and disassembly of complex injection molds.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience making routine and complex repairs to injection molds.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience spot fitting parting lines.
• CAD knowledge needed
