Job summary

Chicago Mold Engineering in Illinois is seeking experienced CNC mold makers to build, repair and troubleshoot plastic injection molds. The ideal candidate has strong skills in operating general shop machinery and CAD; a minimum of five years in assembly/disassembly of complex molds and in fitting parting lines.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate general shop machinery (Prototraks, surface grinders, lathes, etc.).
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in assembly and disassembly of complex injection molds.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience making routine and complex repairs to injection molds.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience spot fitting parting lines.
• CAD knowledge needed.
