Job summary

LifeMade Products LLC, a Jadex Inc operating company, seeks a Process/Mold Technician to maintain and repair injection molds and equipment, calibrate process variables, and provide solutions to reduce cycle time and scrap. The role requires self-direction and willingness to work all shifts, including overtime and weekends.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, and QA, perform preventive maintenance, read prints, document actions, and support tooling and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of technical hands-on experience in an injection molding operation.
• RJG, AIM, Paulson, and Routsis certifications are a plus.
• Familiar with PLC programming and electrical controls, as applicable.
• Detailed knowledge of mechanical, design, and general machining capabilities.
• Thorough familiarity with hydraulic and electrical components of manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Must work safely following OSHA and GMP requirements and set a good example.
• Maintains compliance with company policy and procedures.
• Conduct first article inspections and in-process quality checks
• Complete production paperwork, downtime logs and shift reports accurately
• Follow control plans, work instructions and QMS procedures
• Lead by example and train shift personnel to maximize efficiencies
• Coordinate with Engineering, production, cross-functional teams and vendors on urgent requests
• Participate in preventative maintenance and maintain maintenance history records
• Improve job functions through training, education, and research
• Perform mold changes, set-ups, and start-ups
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on molds and hot runners
• Diagnose, repair, and calibrate automated equipment
• Familiar with CMMS Asset Essentials for repairs and inspections
• Manage tooling inventory and spare parts to avoid production downtime
