Job summary

Dynomax, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mold Maker to manufacture and assemble high-precision injection mold tools. You will analyze specifications, set up and operate machine tools, and fit and assemble parts to create molds.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, using GD&T to plan operations, and verifying dimensions with precision measuring tools. Candidates should have a strong background in mold tooling and tight tolerance work.

Qualifications

• Mold making experience is required and demonstrated via toolmaking.
• GD&T knowledge used to plan and verify dimensions.
• Ability to work from drawings and specifications to produce precision parts.

Responsibilities

• Visualize and compute dimensions and tolerances of assemblies based on specifications.
• Study blueprints or specifications and use GD&T to plan sequences of operations for mold components.
• Perform machining operations and setup on tool room equipment such as milling equipment, surface grinders, and turning lathes.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and microscopes.
• Perform bench and assembly operations including filing, grinding, shimming, and adjusting to finish projects.
