Job summary

Dynamic Group, a leader in precision manufacturing and injection molding for medical devices, seeks a Mold Designer in Coon Rapids, MN. You will convert complex ideas into precise tooling, collaborating with Engineering, Toolroom and customers to ensure designs meet quality and production standards.

The role requires at least five years of mold design experience, proficiency with Creo or SolidWorks, and a diploma in Tool and Die or Mold Making.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of mold design experience.
• Diploma in Tool and Die or Mold Making (or equivalent).
• Proficiency with solid modeling software; Creo preferred, SolidWorks acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs for manufacturability of injection molded parts and tooling using CAD software (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks) for customer review and input.
• Develop mold design concepts that support ease of manufacturing and meet customer/Company requirements.
• Create complete mold designs using solid modeling software for customer approval.
• Analyze customer part models and provide design-for-manufacturability recommendations to improve part and mold concepts.
• Generate clear Bills of Materials and detail mold components per Company standards.
• Prepare and verify complete mold design packages.
