Dynamic Group is seeking a Mold Designer in Coon Rapids, MN. The role focuses on turning complex ideas into precise, manufacturable tooling while collaborating with Engineering, Toolroom, and customers to ensure designs meet quality and production needs.

Responsibilities include creating detailed mold designs, conducting manufacturability analyses, and preparing complete design packages for customer approval. Requires five years of mold design experience and proficiency with Creo or SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of related mold design experience.
• Tool and Die or Mold Making diploma from an accredited technical college, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with solid modeling software; Creo preferred, SolidWorks acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs for manufacturability of injection molded parts and tooling using CAD software (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks).
• Develop mold design concepts that support ease of manufacturing and meet both customer and Company requirements.
• Create complete mold designs using solid modeling software for customer approval.
• Analyze customer part models and provide design-for-manufacturability recommendations that improve both the part and the mold concept.
• Generate clear and accurate Bills of Materials.
