Job summary

Penta Research in Huntsville, AL is seeking a full-time Verification & Validation Engineer to join the NGI project supporting Lockheed Martin. You will work onsite on the high-fidelity simulation validation and test activities.

The role requires building V&V plans, coordinating with development and product teams, and developing automated unit tests and test data analyses to support delivery to government customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
5+ years related experience.
Development experience with C++, MATLAB.
Knowledge of GitLab, Visual Studio or VSCode, GTest.
Knowledge of DOORs, Cameo.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Experience with Linux.
Knowledge of standard software development and configuration management practices.

Responsibilities

Analyze and resolve product defects with development and product management teams.
Create and maintain V&V documentation (V&V plans, test descriptions, defect reports).
Coordinate with multiple departments to obtain required resources for V&V activities.
Develop simulation unit tests and automated testing capability.
Produce and present products to Lockheed Martin and Missile Defense Agency customers.
