Job summary

The Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN seeks an experienced Modeling & Simulation Operations Systems Analyst to build and validate high fidelity DES models of manufacturing processes. You will deploy simulations at the facility level, analyze real and simulated data, and explore what-if scenarios to identify bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in engineering, science or IT discipline.
• Experience with modeling, simulation, statistics or analysis.
• Knowledge of DES tools (AFSIM, Arena, Simio, etc.).
• Strong communication and ability to present findings.

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, validate and maintain DES models of manufacturing processes.
• Deploy modeling and simulation to facility level and analyze data.
• Conduct what-if scenarios to identify bottlenecks and capacity constraints.
• Present findings and trade-offs to stakeholders and leadership.
