Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a highly skilled engineer to support and conduct simulation studies across system performance, trade-offs, and logistics for DoD programs at Hanscom AFB. The role requires experience in modeling, RF/antenna analysis, MATLAB/Simulink/C++, and data management, with a focus on open mission systems and digital engineering concepts.

U.S. citizenship and TS clearance are required.

Qualifications

5+ years of engineering experience and related field expertise.
Experience reviewing modeling work for regulatory compliance and best practices.
Experience developing and maintaining modeling best practices and solving complex problems.
Experience with RF/antenna modeling and simulation.
Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, or C++.
US citizenship and ability to obtain TS clearance.

Responsibilities

Support and conduct simulation studies on system performance, trade-offs, and logistics.
Review/model work for compliance with regulations and best practices.
Develop and maintain modeling best practices and tools.
Analyze complex problems and develop relevant models for dynamic analyses.
Collaborate with Government clients and onsite teams to verify required intelligence data.
Apply modeling tools to mission-level analyses including military communications and threat assessment.
Employ Digital Engineering concepts across the program lifecycle.
Provide technical consultation and recommendations on open mission systems implementations.
