Job summary

Abacus Technology seeks a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to support the TAAS program at Hanscom AFB. You will conduct simulation studies on system performance, trade‑offs, and logistics, and review models for compliance with regulations and best practices.

You will develop and apply advanced modeling techniques, support MBSE and Digital Twin efforts, and collaborate with government clients to characterize threat models and enable NC3 modernization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering experience in a technical role.
• Review modeling work for compliance with regulations and best practices.
• Develop and maintain modeling best practices.
• Experience with RF and antenna modeling and simulation.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink/C++.
• Must be a US citizen with Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support and conduct simulation studies on performance, trade-offs, and logistics.
• Review modeling work for compliance with regulations and best practices.
• Develop and maintain modeling best practices.
• Analyze complex problems and develop relevant models/constraints for dynamic analyses.
• Review and support modeling to solve weapon system issues including networking/communications.
• Develop and apply advanced software and systems methods for complex problems.
• Support MBSE and Digital Engineering across the program lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams and Government clients on capability data.
