Job summary

Sabel Systems Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced modeling and simulation expert in Colorado Springs. You will design and validate high‑fidelity models for complex DoD systems, executing large simulations, Monte Carlo analyses, and robust sensitivity studies.

You will collaborate with systems engineers and MBSE specialists, develop scripts and extensions, and communicate results through clear reports and visualizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 10+ years in modeling, simulation, analysis, or related roles with progression.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-fidelity simulation models and translate requirements into executable architectures.
• Establish simulation framework architecture including environment modeling and data integration.
• Develop physics-based models for components and systems with appropriate fidelity.
• Execute complex simulations across scenarios and environmental conditions.
• Conduct Monte Carlo simulations and quantify uncertainty to assess robustness.
• Perform sensitivity analysis to identify critical parameters and relationships.
• Design and execute trade studies to evaluate configurations and approaches.
• Create performance metrics and validate simulations against specs.
