Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Model Engineer to lead the engineering team in delivering the program's technical requirements. You will coordinate with Engineering, Project, and customer teams to ensure a quality product that meets user needs.

You will manage requirements, drive V&V, and guide interfaces and configuration control while leading mid-size projects with moderate risk and resource needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a program or project leadership role within an engineering environment

Responsibilities

• Manages product and systems requirements, specifications and flow down.
• Drives validation and verification activities for the overall product/system, including system level testing.
• Responsible for defining product requirements for the module / component / subcontractors and partners teams.
• Manages interface between components and execution organizations.
• Responsible for driving CTQ / Risk trades within the teams designing the components.
• Manages the overall product configuration and configuration control system.
• Recommend the approach to meet the technical and program requirements
• Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contract commitments
• Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems
• Provide technical guidance to other personnel
• Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline.
