Job summary

RTX (Pratt & Whitney) seeks a Model-Based Tools Design Methods Engineer to accelerate and mature digital design tooling for MB-DMI deployment, onsite in East Hartford, CT. You will drive production-readiness, ensure QMS alignment, and provide expert support to engineering teams across the enterprise.

The role involves collaboration with the MB-DMI Strategic Lead, managing tool improvements, and ensuring consistent data consumption across PLM, CAD, CAM, CAI, and MES workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM is required.
• 8+ years of engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with Model-Based Enterprise and Model-Based Definition is required.

Responsibilities

• Mature model-based tools to production readiness and ensure QMS compliance.
• Provide help-desk level support for deployed MB tools and coordinate defect resolution.
• Collaborate with MB-DMI Lead to implement cross-functional strategies for MB-DMI data consumption.
• Develop and sustain standardization across Engineering and downstream users of MB tools.
• Evaluate and update tools (e.g., NX) and PMI functionality for enterprise tool roadmaps.
