Job summary

Torch Technologies seeks a senior MBSE Engineer to support NASIC with model-based systems engineering, requirements traceability, and architecture design. You will collaborate across software, hardware, and test teams to ensure thorough verification and validation, and you will help document specifications and test plans throughout the lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 6–10+ years in systems engineering, SysML tooling experience (DOORS/Cameo/EA), and an active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

US Citizenship required.
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
6–10+ years of systems engineering experience.
Experience with SysML and MBSE tools.
Must be able to obtain an SCI.

Responsibilities

Perform requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability for complex systems.
Develop and maintain system architectures, designs, and interface control documents.
Conduct system-level testing, verification, and validation activities.
Participate in trade studies, risk assessments, and technical reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and test engineers.
Support the integration and testing of system components and subsystems.
Document technical specifications, test plans, and project reports.
Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools where applicable.
Provide technical support and expertise throughout the system development lifecycle.
