Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a talented Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support MSIC. The role focuses on requirements analysis, system architectures, and MBSE-driven testing within a DoD/IC context.

Applicants should have 6–10+ years in systems engineering, SysML proficiency, and the ability to collaborate across software, hardware, and test teams. A Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical, Aerospace, CS or related field.
• 6–10+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Familiarity with systems engineering processes: requirements, architecture, verification and validation.
• Experience with SysML modeling tools (DOORS, Cameo, EA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability for complex systems.
• Develop and maintain system architectures, designs, and interface control documents.
• Conduct system-level testing, verification, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and test engineers.
• Support the integration and testing of system components and subsystems.
• Document technical specifications, test plans, and project reports.
• Apply MBSE principles and tools where applicable.
• Provide technical support and lifecycle discipline across projects.
