Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an experienced automotive software engineer with strong MATLAB/Simulink expertise to develop, test, and maintain control algorithms for powertrain systems in a Columbus, Indiana environment.

The role emphasizes AUTOSAR integration, MATLAB scripting, and rigorous MIL/SIL/Polyspace testing, with a focus on engine controls, aftertreatment, and auto code generation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

Proven experience with MATLAB/Simulink for control-system development.
AUTOSAR Application Software Layer modeling in MATLAB/Simulink.
Proficient with MATLAB scripting, Simulink, and Stateflow.
Experience with MIL/SIL and Polyspace testing.
Experience with Calterm and Polyspace testing.
Hands-on with engine controls and aftertreatment systems.
Familiar with Windchill and ClearCase.
Knowledge of requirements management and debugging/problem solving.
Experience with auto code generation and build processes.
Unit/Integration testing experience in MIL environments.
Knowledge of automotive powertrain features; familiarity with related functions.
