Job summary

Senior Neighbors Inc. is seeking a Transportation Representative to provide reliable community transport for older adults in Northern Kent County. This 35-hour weekly, full-time position offers hourly compensation and requires a valid Chauffeur License.

Responsibilities include planning routes, assisting riders in and out of vehicles, maintaining records, and performing pre-trip inspections. You will work with the Manager of Transportation Services and participate in trainings as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Chauffeur License required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate and plan routes efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to nutrition sites, shopping, medical services, and other activities as scheduled.
• Maintain daily records of program services.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and follow maintenance schedules.
• Provide ambulatory assistance and other transportation-related support as needed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety, and report deficiencies to the Transportation Manager.
• Attend trainings and meetings as directed.
